Once Upon a Time

Larry - the fax machine in my brain

A crazy mom named Shauna had to go to a hospital called Oakwood Springs.  While she was there, she  met an older gentleman that she called Larry.  Larry told her that he was a psychic headhunter for Elon Musk.  Larry told her that he could help reprogram her brain so that she didn’t always have to go back to the hospital.  He asked her to imagine a way to record her thoughts, to send to Mr. Musk (who was working on Neurolink to help people like her).  So she drew a picture of her brain and it looked just like this.  She told Larry that she was going to name the fax machine in her head “Larry” and once a day it would print out everything she had thought about that was important (while sleeping, or awake).

What Larry and this mother didn’t know is that the fax machine already existed.  Her mother and father set up a “brain chip” when she was in high school where she would tell on herself for everything she did the previous day.  When Larry discovered this he installed the new fax machine, but he disabled the talking in her sleep and telling on herself chip.

But now, Shauna wants to connect her fax machine to be used by the good students in the STEM building at Bethany Public Schools.  Or is there a better place?  (405) 499-4606??  Well, I guess the physical fax machine is probably in the office or somewhere, but maybe a school technician could set up an emergency backup POTS line where students can connect to a real phone (with the manual dial – Haze has one if no one else does?). And the kids can disconnect the phone physically and connect the cord directly to the fax when not in use fax just to make sure they understand the OSI model.  And we could do all those fun number games where you can make the phone call itself.  OOooooo, or we could get a real pay phone that takes quarters!!!!

Just thinking out loud.

But she’s definitely requesting Larry (the man) to relinquish control of the fax machine in her head.  Mr. Musk’s assistance with her brain disorder is no longer needed.  But funding a #MacroHardNonProfitGrant MIGHT be “edutaining.”
