How By Bethany Kids Works

By Bethany Kids is a non-profit run by a long-time web marketer named Shauna Conway.  She lives in Bethany, Oklahoma and is passionate about her work and about instilling 21st-century job skills in kids.  We were awarded a $10,000 monthly Google advertising grant; however, we have to have a lot of people click on our ads (and not press the back button) to keep our grant active.  We appreciate your help in doing this so that we can continue to improve Google grants and have teens LEARN in the process.  This is truly gamified learning for our local students.

Please take some time to explore our site, or leave a comment for our students if you se a bybethanykids.com ad.  We are passionate about mastering Google advertising and our teens love that they are hacking Google to make it do what we want.  We are also highly interested in getting donations so that we can continue to pay our students for their work.  If you are able to make a donation please click the PayPal link to your right.  Even a small donation helps.

It Takes Diligence

We are still tinkering with our old Royal Typewriter.  The goal is to have it up and running so that the kids can use it to write stories and get the feel of what it was like to type in the past.  Nothing like the feel of the keys on an old-time typewriter.  This project is taking ...

Progress…

Glow-In-the-Dark Game Night

We’re planning for a glow in the dark game night soon… Dips that glow under a black light.  Solo cups that fluoresce in the black light.  And our very own custom wood wahoo board that has leds under each space to make the men (translucent marbles of all different colors) glow.  We can’t actually PLAN the game ...

Breathing New Life into an Old Typewriter

We’ve been hard at work trying to get our USB Typewriter up and going.  However, we’ve run into a few snags… The port for the USB sits underneath the plastic casing of the typewriter, so we’re going to have to find a way to make a hole large enough to allow the cable to connect. ...

However, one negative review can cause lots of turmoil around the business and online. Let’s face it, the review game is rigged against business owners.  People are more likely to review someone when they are ...

SEO in 2017

I started working with search engine optimization in 2008. The rules were much different back then. Google really wasn’t as smart as it is now. You could make a site rank high on Google by using your exact match key phrase on your site, within link tags, and on your off-site links. Now all of ...
